BSI (British Standards Institute)

Creation and delivery of bespoke ‘Train the Digital Trainer’ courses delivered virtually with regular bookings running over two years



Glaxo SmithKline

Delivery of presentation and advanced presentation skills every month for over 12 years. During one year GSK analysed the month on month feedback from around 30 different training courses in which Michael’s consistently came in the top five.



International Maritime Organisation (part of the UN)

Five years delivering two day presentation skills and public speaking courses for attendees required to deliver internationally. Media interviews and training for trainer courses were added to the IMO offering and have run for over two years. The IMO recommended Michael’s media training to the IOPC (International Oil Pollution Council) in 2018 and also added a further course titled ‘Presentation Skills For Non-Native English Speakers’.



Civil Service Learning (KPMG)

One of a team of presenters delivering a KPMG produced course in ‘Building Effective Teams’. This was originally delivered face to face and delivered virtually during and after the Covid epidemic via MS Teams.



Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

Three years running Presentation Skills and Public Speaking for the funding team who present to schools and corporates, and speak at public events and award ceremonies within Royal venues. Also ran courses for the marketing team required to pitch for major donations.



National Grid

Over five years delivering regular face to face presentation skills training and virtual presentation skills to small groups of up to 10 attendees plus two Ted Talk style virtual sessions with 50 attendees on each.



Virgin Trains

Three years running regular courses in presentation, public speaking and media interviews for those required to speak and answer questions within public forums and council meetings.



Schlumberger

Over six years running both presentation and advanced presentation skills programmes which have been selected to run regularly throughout offices in England, Scotland, Norway, Romania and the south of France.



Sony

Over five years running a variety of bespoke presentation skills training throughout Sony Broadcast, Sony Music and for Sony owned game producers.



Sellafield

Part of a team of trainers delivering regular virtual training (created by Sellafield‘s L&D department) in ‘Professional Communication Skills’, Self Confidence & Assertiveness’ and ‘Personal Resilience’



Taylor Wimpey

Over six years running regular courses in presentation skills and media interviews. The latter being part of TW’s ‘community lead planning’ response – for attendees required to speak at council meetings and public consultation events in which local media are also present. Michael trained every director throughout TW’s 25 regional offices. Also ran three x two day courses in communication skills.



Selection Interviewing Skills

Created and delivered training for interviewers (managers) within various corporates. Also receive requests for one on one coaching with people preparing for job interviews and ran a series of courses delivered within local schools attended by school leavers in preparation for first time job interviews. Worked with Citizens Advice helping create advisory literature for jobseekers.
